Obama vs. Osama

A friend of mine recently posted a blog on FOX New's coverage of Barack Obama's decision to run for the democratic presidential nomination. He noted that the audience was told that he's black; his parents were not born in America; his middle name is Hussein; he has admitted to using cocaine; he is a smoker. They didn't say anyhting about where he stands on any policy issues. That's FOX News for you. I'm not at all surprised.

I was more surprised, however, to find that last night on CNN, they ran a story on the search for al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden entitled 'Where's Obama?' Oops. The program in question was "The Situation Room." It looks like being a black Democract means you can't even buy good press coverage. Stop. Look down at your key board. Locate the 'B' and the 'S'. They're not really close to one another. How does this even happen?

CNN has apologized; the Obama team has accepted the apology.
